Christophe Mouze

Christophe was born in France but  moved to Ireland over 20 years ago. He has lived a very varied life and worked in many different areas, including tourism, IT,  teaching yoga and now farming.

A few years ago, he gave up a promising :) career managing a small IT company, went to India, and come back only to settle on Clare Island where we started the yoga retreat centre (and a family).  He still work with computers, though, as he is the webmaster of a number of yoga and horse related websites.
Living at Macalla farm is an ongoing journey, and he is learning from it every day.

Christophe loves cooking (he is French after all...) and he is passionate about organic food production. His past loves, writing and sailing are getting a new lease of life on the island, and he is developing new interests such as gardening and growing trees.

He has a keen interest in keeping and training horses using natural methods, and he is actively promoting Natural hoof care in Ireland and exploring the relationship between horses and self development.
