Horsemanship workshops at Macalla farm, Clare Island, with Sean Fitzgibbon, 10th - 11th April

A two day workshops for horse owners, working on the principles of Natural horsemanship.

The workshop, concentrating on horse psychology and ground work. It will consist of an outline of the Physiology of the horse, and the principles under which it lives and survives, and will introduce the tools  which we use and the principles and methods by which they are employed to train the horse.
In the next phase, workshop participants will implement the principles and use the tools in a safe and effective way on their own horses.
Once the participants have demonstrated their understanding and implementation of all of the above, they will be able to continue and develop their ground skills and progress to the ridden phase in safety, and develop a true partnership with their horse.

Sean Fitzgibbon, horse trainer

Sean is a phenominal horse trainer, and his work with horses is very impressive indeed. He has had a lifetime of working with and learning from horses. If you ever want to meet a true Irish horseman, you will not have the oppertunity to meet a nicer, more talented, natural (for use of a better word!), down to earth person. He is among a handful of the best horse producers and truely gifted horsepeople in Ireland. As well as the knowledge, skills and experience, he has got the feel, the timing and the heart.

Price is 150 euros non residential. Spectator 30 euros / day (non residential).  Accommmodation available at the farm if required, contact us.
If you are interested in this course, we recommend you book early, as number is limited to 8 participants.
